OUR PROGRAM

COMPETITIVE GYMNASTICS TEAMS

At CIU, we proudly offer a competitive gymnastics team that follows the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) program, providing a structured yet challenging environment for gymnasts of various skill levels. Our teams currently include athletes competing at the BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD, and PLATINUM levels, with each gymnast honing their skills and routines under the guidance of our dedicated coaches.

Team Competition & Travel
Our athletes participate in 6 meets per season, all within a two-four hour radius of our gym, offering a balanced mix of local competition and travel. Each gymnast competes in the four individual gymnastics events: bars, beam, floor, and vault. Through personalized training, they master routines specified by AAU, helping them grow individually and as part of a team.

Want to Join Multiple Teams?
We understand that some athletes may have the desire and skill to participate in more than one team. If this is the case, your child will first be placed on the most age-appropriate and skill-appropriate team. A second team is optional and requires clear communication with our coaching staff. If you would like your child to be considered for an additional team, please let us know. The additional cost for being part of a second team is $68 per month.

Team Placement & Practice Schedule
Team placement is determined based on the athlete's skill level and age. Once a team is selected, specific practice times will be scheduled to ensure optimal training for each gymnast.

Loyalty Benefits
We value the dedication of our long-term athletes! Loyalty credits are available for gymnasts who have been part of the Aerials Gymnastics family for three or more years.

Director of Cheer It Up, oversees our Aerials Gymnastics program, recreational classes, competitive cheer, and tumbling classes.

Graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Corporate Communication.

Assistant Director of Cheer It Up, help with leading our programs, supporting athletes and coaches.

Outside of the gym, Shelbi owns her own LLC. - The Ruth Society

Coaching Aerials since 2024

Competed gymnastics for 8 years and graduated from Wagoner High School in 2024

Attends Northeastern State University planning on being a Speech-Language Pathologist

Competed gymnastics for 6 years and coached for toe years at Nichols Gymnastics Academy in Enid. Graduated from Enid High School in 2025

Attend Northeastern State University and is a part of the President Leadership Class and a member of Delta Zeta sorority
